METHOD FOR POWER-SAVING OPERATION OF COMMUNICATION TERMINALS IN A COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

The method involves prompting a change in a power consumption operating state of communication terminals (12, 14) e.g. participant units, of a wireless communication system e.g. wireless conference system, by a central station (10) of the communication system in dependence of a user input. The communication terminals are shifted into a power-saving operating state-standby by the central station. The user input is effected in the central station or in a processor (16) that is connected with the central station. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a central station with a medium for implementing a method for operating communication terminals in a wireless communication system (2) a communication terminal with a medium for implementing a method for operating communication terminals in a wireless communication system.
