Aq., reactive microgel dispersions (I) contain microgel particles with a mean dia. of 0.01-1 micron, which are insoluble but swollen in conventional organic solvents, capable of being dried without other film-forming additives to give homogeneous, transparent, reactive films, and have iodine nos. of 2-100. Also claimed is a process for the prodn. of (I).
