PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition which comprises a polycarbonate resin and a polyphenylene resin and has excellent rigidity, excellent melt flowability, and improved moldability. SOLUTION: This thermoplastic resin composition comprising a polycarbonate resin having at least one kind of repeating units represented by formula [1], and a polyphenylene resin comprising two kinds of specific repeating units is characterized by containing the polyphenylene resin in an amount of 1 to 99 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the total amount of the composition.
