3D DISPLAY APPARATUS

A 3D(Three-Dimensional) display device is provided to display 2D(Two-Dimensional) and 3D images by forming a display panel, a lenticular lens substrate, and a rotating polarization unit in order and rotating an upper polarizing plate at 90 degrees. A 3D display device is composed of a display panel(300) having upper and lower substrates(310,320); a lenticular lens substrate(400) formed on the display panel and provided with a lenticular lens(410); a rotating polarization unit(500) disposed on the lenticular lens substrate and provided with an upper polarizing plate rotated at 90 degrees; and a lower polarizing plate(12) disposed at the lower side of the display panel. The lower polarizing plate has a transmitting axis inclined at the angle of 45° in a counterclockwise direction on the basis of the direction of three o'clock. The upper polarizing plate has a transmitting axis of 0° or 90° through rotation.
