<p>Systems and methods for controlling a cross-web caliper profile of a polymeric film (20) are disclosed. A cross-web heat distribution system (150a, 150b, 150c) for providing a selectable distribution of heat to the film in a heat distribution zone is disclosed. The cross-web heat distribution system includes at least one heating element (160) proximate the heat distribution zone.
