PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging method of a fiber for an artificial hair which suppresses occurrence of a bend to the minimum level during its package, transportation or preservation, and damages neither workability nor a cosmetic characteristic. SOLUTION: In the packaging method of the fiber for the artificial hair, a density of the fiber for the artificial hair filling the packaging vessel is from not less than 0.1 kg/l to not more than 0.8 kg/l, and in that pressure urged from the packaged fiber for the artificial hair to the top surface of the packaging vessel is from not less than 0.1 kPa to not more than 8.0 kPa.
