PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a salt bath furnace for chemical strengthening capable of efficiently manufacturing a glass substrate for a magnetic disk; to provide a manufacturing method of the glass substrate for the magnetic disk; and to provide a manufacturing method of the magnetic disk. SOLUTION: The salt bath furnace 15 for chemical strengthening for performing chemical strengthening of the glass substrate 3 for the magnetic disk is provided with a storing vessel 11 storing a chemical strengthening liquid 14 for performing chemical strengthening, a heating means 19 heating the chemical strengthening liquid 14 of the storing vessel 11 and a plurality of wave breakers 20 provided along an inner wall surface 11a of the storing vessel 11 in a height position of a liquid surface 14a of the chemical strengthening liquid 14 and suppressing the wave of the liquid surface 14a of the chemical strengthening liquid 14.
