PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is not possible for a terminal side to dynamically change note data since plane data and note data are both rasterized. SOLUTION: This map information display method for displaying map information by a terminal connected to a server in which tile-divided note data and plane data are stored so as to be associated with each other includes: retrieving a plurality of tile-divided note data and tile-divided plane data corresponding to the display positions of the map information; requesting the retrieved plurality of tile-divided note data and tile-divided plane data to the server; combining the plurality of tile-divided plane data with each other; and arranging the tile-divided note data on the combined plurality of tile-divided data.
