<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair having a backrest adjustable in initial attitude (initial angle) while appropriately securing lumbar support function. <P>SOLUTION: The backrest 4 has a back inner shell 18, the back inner shell 18 is connected to a back post 14 in a manner to be turned around both right and left ends of a lumbar support portion 22. The back inner shell 18 has a lower end part connected to a back frame 13 through an initial angle adjusting device 15. An operating device 40 has a pin-shaped lock pin penetrating the lower end of the back inner shell 18, and the supporting position of the lock pin is changed to stepwisely change the initial attitude of the backrest 4. Even if the initial attitude of the backrest 4 is changed, the front-back position of the lumbar support portion 22 is not changed, so that push up feeling or insufficient supporting is not generated when the initial attitude is changed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
