In the first mode, the acquisition unit acquires the adjustment values for the focus detection regions, based on a focus state in a specific first focus detection region. In the second mode, the acquisition unit acquires the adjustment value for each of the focus detection regions, based on a focus state detected in each of the focus detection regions.
