A backlight module (100) comprises a light guide plate (110), a rubber frame (120) and a reflector plate (130). The light guide plate (110) comprises a lateral surface (111) and a bottom surface (112). The bottom of the rubber frame (120) extends toward the lateral surface (111) to be fitted between the lateral surface (111) and the bottom surface (112). The reflector plate (130) is arranged below the light guide plate (110) and the rubber frame (120) and is attached to a bottom surface (121) of the rubber frame (120). Also provided is a liquid crystal display having the backlight module (100). The bottom of the rubber frame (120) extends toward the lateral surface (111) of the light guide plate (110) so that the area of the bottom surface (121) of the rubber frame (120) can be increased, the attachment area of the reflector plate (130) and the bottom surface (121) of the rubber frame (120) is accordingly increased, the attachment firmness is further improved, and the reliability is improved. |
