<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time until an application becomes available after power activation. <P>SOLUTION: In an information apparatus (1) including a first processor (110) and a second processor (111) which can perform multi-processing by sharing physical memory (17, 18 and 19), the first processor performs processing of an operating system by executing an OS image file after reset release, and activates an application on the operating system. The second processor provides a part of functions of the information apparatus prior to the application activation by the first processor, by executing a program for start-up functions after the reset release.
