<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reformer which is usable in common with each of fuels by developing a reforming catalyst applicable to LPG and DME, city gas and DME, or city gas, LPG, and DME. <P>SOLUTION: The reformer for the solid oxide type fuel cell is a reformer which produces reformed gas by using a hydrocarbon or dimethyl ether as a fuel, and includes: a reforming reactor having the reforming catalyst in the inside thereof; a water vapor generator supplying water vapor to the reforming reactor; fuel supply piping supplying fuel to the reforming reactor; a switching means performing switch between the hydrocarbon and dimethyl ether and supplying either of the hydrocarbon and dimethyl ether to the fuel supply piping; and a reformed gas piping supplying the reformed gas from the reforming reactor to a solid oxide type fuel cell; wherein any of the supplied fuel are water vapor-reformed on the identical reforming catalyst in the reforming reactor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
