A pump (10) for an inflatable device incorporating an air chamber (20) in which the inflatable device can be stored. The air chamber (20) has first (16) and second opposing sides (18). The first opposing side (16) incorporating a two-way valve (28). The second opposing side (18) is operable in a first position to allow the inflatable device to be stored and retrieved from the air chamber (20), and in a second position operable to create an air tight seal for the air chamber (20). When the second opposing side (18) is in the second position, application of a contracting force to the air chamber (20) expels air contained in the air chamber (20) by way of the two-way valve (28) and on application of an expansive force to the air chamber (20) draws air into the air chamber (20) by way of the two-way valve (28). |
