It increases the pedalling output in bicycles by means of a better distribution of the power delivery of the legs, making the pedals independent so that each one moves its own axle, with the following kinematics: it prevents both legs coinciding at the dead points (when one of the pedals is up and the other down), making the rising pedal go more rapidly than the descending pedal. Two alternative mechanisms are proposed for achieving said kinematics: - transmission by independent pedals by means of a double chain and eccentric chucks, where the power is transmitted directly to the wheel; - elliptical transmission which is independent for each pedal by means of a single plate, which coordinates the kinematics of the pedals, being the power transmitter. Its application extends to all types of cycling and, in general, that involving pedal drive. <IMAGE>
