PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the unbalancing state of a test object without utilizing a pivot or the like even in the case of a gravity type, to reduce manufacturing costs, and to secure sufficient strength and durability. SOLUTION: In this gravity type balancing machine 1, the unbalancing quantity around a measuring shaft in the vertical direction of the test object is measured. The machine 1 is equipped with a test board 4 where the test object is placed at the measuring time, at least three load cells 5 for supporting the test board 4 at equal distances from the measuring shaft with equal loads, arranged at equal intervals around the measuring shaft, and a control part for operating an unbalancing angle and a mass around the measuring shaft of the test object from the load detected by each load cell 5 in the state where the test object is placed on the test board 4.
