<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic latent image developer with which an image of high image quality can be stably obtained by suppressing an image defect and roughness of the image and the contamination within the machine. <P>SOLUTION: The electrostatic latent image developer composed of an electrostatic latent image developing toner and a carrier is characterized in that the electrostatic latent image developing toner has coloring particles containing at least a binder resin, a colorant and a release agent, and an external additive; the average circularity of the toner is ≥0.940 to <0.970; the value of cumulative 90% of an arithmetic mean height distribution is ≥0.15 μm; and the median of the arithmetic mean height distribution of the carrier is 0.20 to 0.40 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
