<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print an image displayed on a monitor screen, with high image quality like a photograph. <P>SOLUTION: A two-dimensional image is generated from polygon data representing the three-dimensional shape of an object by a polygon, and displayed on the monitor screen. In the case of receiving a printing command of the two-dimensional image displayed on the monitor screen, at least one of the image data of the two-dimensional image and the polygon data used for forming the two-dimensional image is acquired to generate image data based on smaller polygons than the polygon data while the object is arranged in the same way as the two-dimensional image. If the image is printed using the thus obtained image data as print data, the image with the three-dimensional shape of the object accurately expressed by fine polygons can be printed, so that the image displayed on the monitor screen can be printed with high image quality like the photograph. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
