PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ligament tension measuring instrument capable of accurately measuring the tension of a ligament and simply and objectively measuring the tension of the ligament by simultaneously measuring the reactive force and the deflection amount of the ligament. SOLUTION: A ligament measuring probe 40 of this ligament measuring instrument B includes a load measuring section 45 and a moving amount measuring section 48 and measures the tension of an artificial ligament S by simultaneously measuring the reactive force and the deflection amount of the artificial ligament S, to accurately measure the tension of the artificial ligament S and simply and objectively measure the tension of the artificial ligament compared with a case of measuring the tension of the artificial ligament S by a load alone. Alternatively, an outer cylinder 42, an inner cylinder 43, and a rod body 44 are mutually freely slidable, so that the load measuring section 45 and the moving amount measuring section 48 can be easily equipped in the ligament measuring probe 40 with a simple constitution.
