PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel (PDP) coping with a rise of a clock frequency and individually adjusting the widths of negative polarity pulses to be applied to scanning electrodes. SOLUTION: A scan driving unit 202 includes: a shift register part 11 for receiving a scan data signal 8 and a scan clock signal 9; a plurality of pulse width control circuits 211 each of which receives an output signal from the shift register part 11 and a negative polarity pulse width control signal 220 and outputs a signal whose pulse width is controlled by using the negative polarity pulse width control signal 220; a blanking part 12 for receiving output signals from the plurality of pulse width control circuits 211 and a blanking signal 10; and a plurality of high voltage output parts for amplifying respective outputs signals from the plurality of pulse width control circuits 211, which are input through the blanking part 12, and successively outputting negative polarity pulses whose pulse widths are respectively controlled to the scanning electrodes.
