<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately make stereo images correspond to each other, in an image processing device for specifying correspondence relation of each point between right and left images by minimizing an energy function on a parallax between the images. <P>SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a parallax function setting part 18 for setting a plurality of parallax relations wherein a parallax is expressed as a function of an image position, a data term calculation part 20 for calculating similarity of a corresponding domain between images specified by the set parallax function, a smoothing term calculation part 22 for calculating consistency with a near pixel of the parallax function, and a parallax function selection part 24 for selecting a parallax function on each point of the image from the plurality of set parallax functions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
