Disclosed are a BBU power configuring method and a BBU which determine required power which is requested by a BBU to an RRH to transmit a downlink signal to a terminal based on RRH power headroom information in a cloud LAN environment in which the RRH and the BBU are separated and transmit a power allocation change request message for making a request for changing transmission power of other BBUs connected to the RRH to the other BBUs.

1. A method for configuring a downlink transmit power by a Base Band Unit (BBU) via a Remote Radio Head (RRH) in a cloud RAN (C-RAN) environment having RRH and the BBU separated from each other, the method comprising:
determining, based on RRH power headroom information acquired from an entity managing a system capacity of the RRH, a required power which the BBU will make a request to the RRH to transmit a downlink signal to a terminal; and transmitting, to one or more other BBUs connected to the RRH, a power allocation change request message for requesting that the one or more other BBUs change a transmit power allocated to the RRH according to the required power.
