The flotation cell (1) is filled with the liquid (2), and fed with the ventilated stream (4) and non-aerated partial flow (3) such that ventilated stream is made to meet the non-aerated partial flow in the liquid (2) to form a highly turbulent mixing zone (11). The ventilated stream is supplied through a supply line (20) and the non-aerated partial flow is supplied through a supply line (19). The outlet openings (22,21) of two supply lines (20,19) are arranged opposite to each other in the flotation cell. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) floating device for separating solid materials from liquids; and (2) method for separation of solid materials from liquids. |
