PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical terminal device capable of reducing optical beat noise of an optical signal input to a connected communication substation capable of transmitting optical signals in a bidirectional manner via a single optical transmission channel.SOLUTION: An optical output level of an output from an optical transmission part 25 to a transmission channel 3 is controlled, such that a transmission loss of the optical transmission channel 3 is calculated on the basis of a substation-side optical output level stored in a memory 292 and an optical input level detected by an optical input level detection part 28, and an optical signal of a target optical input level stored in the memory 292 is received by the communication substation 4 on the basis of the calculated transmission loss. |
