FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing diesters of 5,7-dimethyl-3-carboxy-1-adamantylacetic acid, which can be used as key components of bases of synthetic industrial oil. Method of producing diesters involves reaction of 5,7-dimethyl-3-carboxy-1-adamantylacetic acid with aliphatic alcohols of composition C-Cusing a heterogeneous catalyst - silica gel, impregnated with sulphuric acid (HSO-SiO), in weight ratio of 1:0.005-0.01 in absence of solvent at temperature of 100-130 °C.EFFECT: low cost of production due to high output of end products, avoiding use of solvent during reaction, as well as use of a heterogeneous catalyst - sulphuric acid-impregnated silica gel.1 cl, 9 ex |
