An engine support (2) has a first section (6), to which a second section (7) is linked. The second section has a thinner wall thickness than the first section. During a head-on crash in a direction of impact, the different wall thicknesses of the two sections of the engine support produce two areas with changing shape that have a different level of force and capacity to sustain force. An independent claim is also included for a front vehicle section on an agricultural vehicle's bodywork.
