<p>The flat-top chain has links (7), each with two rows of interlocking gudgeons (8a,b,c), which are locked together by gudgeon pins (1). The pins are turned into locking position, in which the axial position of the pins in the gudgeons and their rotary positions are fixed. Turning in the opposite direction releases the pins to dismantle the chain. Each pin has a functional projection (2,4), e.g. a head. In a first position, a head is inserted into a corresponding aperture in the gudgeons, and in a second position, it is axially locked in the aperture. The head is asymmetrical and has a slot.</p> |
