<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device in which color unevenness or brightness unevenness never occurs because a part in which red color is emphasized periodically appears on an emitting face side of a light guide member and a red striped pattern occurs on the emitted light of the light guide member, and in which emitted light with no color unevenness and uniform brightness can be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: In the illumination device provided with the light guide member 102 and a light source 101 arranged adjacent to a light incident face 102a of this light guide member 102, two light semiconductor packages A-1, A-2 are constituted in lateral parallel in the light source 101, and has zig-zag arrangement in which against the virtual center line x going through the center of the two light semiconductor packages A-1, A-2, R (red) optical semiconductor element 10 is positioned at the upper and the lower parts passing two elements in the lateral direction, B (blue) light semiconductor element 11 is arranged at the upper and the lower parts passing two elements in the lateral direction, and G (green) optical semiconductor element 12 is arranged at the upper and the lower parts passing two elements in the lateral direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
