<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixed metal oxide as a precursor in the manufacturing of a cathode material for a lithium secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided: a compound represented by a chemical formula Ni<SB POS="POST">b</SB>M1<SB POS="POST">c</SB>M2<SB POS="POST">d</SB>(O)<SB POS="POST">x</SB>(OH)<SB POS="POST">y</SB>(where M1 is one or more selected from a group composed of Fe, Co, Mg, Zn and Cu. M2 is one or more selected from a group composed of Mn, Al, B, Ca and Cr. b≤0.8, c≤0.5, d≤0.5, 0.1≤x≤0.8, and 1.2≤y≤1.9, provided that x+y=2); a method for manufacturing the compound; and the use of the compound to the preparation of a cathode material for a lithium secondary battery. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
