PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing device not easily causing fretting wear between an annular member and an inner ring externally fitted on an outer circumference surface of a rotating shaft so as to abutting on one another, having a long lifetime, and being manufactured easily at a low cost, and a method for manufacturing the rolling bearing. SOLUTION: Molybdenum disulfide is put between an outer circumference surface of an axle 1 and inner circumference surfaces of a first and a second inner ring 5, 6, between the outer circumference surface of the axle 1 and an inner circumference surface of a rear cover 3, and between an end surface at the rear cover 3 side of the second inner ring 7 and an end surface at the second inner ring 7 side of the rear cover 3.
