PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gearing-type engagement mechanism which can suppress that gearing lengths of dog teeth become short at the transmission of torque.SOLUTION: Tooth faces 10a, 16a of a first dog tooth 10 and a second dog tooth 16 are inclined faces for generating a release force B for separating a first member 6 and a second member 4 in an axial line direction according to torque transmitted by the tooth faces. A gearing-type engagement mechanism comprises a holding member 5 which holds the first member 6 so as to be slidable in the axial line direction, and has an inclined face for imparting a reaction force A in a direction which withstands the release force B to the first member 6 according to a load acting on a contacting face 5b by contacting with the first member 6 in a circumferential direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
