TWO-STEP EXTENDABLE HOME DOOR DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-step extendable home door device which safely and surely achieves two-step extending/contracting movement of a movable part in a simply structured driving mechanism.SOLUTION: A driving mechanism 40 of a door part 30 is provided with: a first step door driving part 41 which is fixed to a door pocket 10 and slides a first step door 31 to the door pocket 10 by an electric motor 42; a lack and pinion mechanism 53 which makes the pinion gear 52 fitted to the first step door 31 engage with a lack gear 51 fixed to the door pocket 10, so that the lack gear 51 rotates the pinion gear 52 along with movement of the first step door 31; a timing belt mechanism 57 including a driving side sieve 54 which is coaxial with the pinion gear 52 and rotates together with the pinion gear 52, and a timing belt 56 driven by rotation of the driving-side sieve 54; and a second-step door driving part 50 provided with a connected/fixed member 58 fixed to the two-step door 32 and the timing belt 56 of the timing belt mechanism 57 to connect them with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
