PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control display configurations of an image radiographed using a rectangular flat panel detector between an imaging mode storing the image and an imaging mode not storing the image in accordance with a purpose of the imaging.SOLUTION: A radiographic apparatus comprises: an image capture unit to capture a radiograph of a subject; a determination unit to determinate whether the imaging mode is a mode storing or a mode not storing the radiograph in a storage unit; a first calculation unit to calculate image size information about the radiograph; a second calculation unit to calculate image display area information indicating the size of an image display area in which a display unit can display the radiograph; a first decision unit to decide a rotation condition for rotation in displaying on the display unit; and a second decision unit to decide a zooming condition for zooming. Upon initiation of radiation exposure, when the mode is determined to be the not-storing mode, the second decision unit decides the zooming condition from the image size information and the image display area information so as to maximize the proportion of the whole radiograph rotated with the rotation condition decided by the first decision unit to the image display area. |
