PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a solid fuel capable of obtaining a granular solid fuel by using multiple types of sludges as raw ingredients and a manufacturing apparatus of such a solid fuel.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a solid fuel provided by the present invention comprises a step of dehydrating multiple types of sludges and a step of drying, via a steam tube dryer, the sludges thus dehydrated. It is desirable for particulates having low water contents and a slurry having a high water content to exist as the dehydrated sludges within the steam tube dryer. It is desirable for the multiple types of sludges to include an activated sludge and a high-caloric-value sludge yielding, in a dry state, a caloric value higher than that of the activated sludge. |
