PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal-material sheet for solar battery module use which is thermally resistant while using a polyethylene-based resin, and superior in transparency, and to provide a method for manufacturing such a seal-material sheet.SOLUTION: A seal-material sheet for solar battery module use comprises: a low-melting point layer including no less than 70 mass% of a polyethylene-based resin having a melting point of 50-70°C. The low-melting point layer is composed of a monolayer or multilayer having a value of MFR(melt-mass-flow rate) of no less than 0.1 g/10 min and below 1.0 g/10 min under the condition of a load of 2.16 kg at 190°C, which was measured in conformity with JIS K7210. The polyethylene-based resin preferably has a density of 0.900 g/cmor less, a gel fraction of 25% or less, and a weight-average molecular weight of 120,000-300,000 in terms of polystyrene. |
