REMOVE METHOD OF LANTERN RING/GLAND PACKING FOR VALVE

PURPOSE: A remove method is provided to easily remove a lantern ring and a gland packing from a valve with a pneumatic channel and a back seat. CONSTITUTION: In a state of removing a sealing material injecting tool and a nitrogen injecting line, regular pressure of a water pressure equipment(30) is delivered to a pneumatic channel via a water pressure connect line(31). An axis bar portion(14) of a valve head(13) is sealed by a back seat(12b) of valve stem(12a). The gap of the axis bar portion is fully airtight by injecting powder sealing materials. Then more than regular water pressure is fed to the axis bar portion, and a gland packing(15a) and a lantern ring(15b) are separated from the axis bar portion.
