SOCKET FOR INSPECTING BOTTOM LEAD TYPE PACKAGE

PURPOSE: A socket for inspecting a BLP(Bottom Lead type Package) is provided to have respective bottom leads stably connected to a connect pin regardless of the height of respective bottom leads, by varying the height of the bottom leads. CONSTITUTION: A socket for inspecting a BLP(Bottom Lead type Package) comprises a socket body(110) and a conductive elastic material. A plurality of pin insertion holes(112) are established in an upper surface of the socket body, and a metal interconnection(111) is established inside the socket body(110). The conductive elastic material is inserted in the pin insertion hole(112) of the socket body(110), connected to the metal interconnection so that the conductive elastic material is differently projected according to a pressing power. A connect pin(120) is included to enable the conductive elastic material not to be completely detached from the pin insertion hole(112) of the socket body even if the pressing power is completely eliminated.
