MATERIAL TO BE RECORDED BY INK JET FOR NON-AQUEOUS INK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material to be recorded by ink jet for a non-aqueous ink having excellent bleeding resistance and ink absorbability of the non-aqueous ink containing a petroleum high boiling point solvent in the material to be ink jet recorded for a non-aqueous ink of plain paper type used for a printer or a plotter utilizing an ink jet recording type using the non-aqueous ink. SOLUTION: The material to be recorded by ink jet for the non-aqueous ink mainly comprises a timber pulp and a filler. The material is recorded by using the non-aqueous ink. The filler is organic fine particles containing an oil absorbable inorganic pigment having an oil absorption amount of 80 ml/100g or more according to JIS K 5101 method, a softening point of 150 deg.C or higher and an oil absorption amount of 150 ml/100 g or more. Further, the filler has a Bristow's absorption coefficient of 70 ml/m<2> . sec<1/2> or more.
