PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording body which is excellent in preservation stability for recorded sections and base-blushing resistance. SOLUTION: This thermal recording body has a thermal coloring layer containing a leuco dye and a color developer, on a supporting body. In such a thermal recording body, a composite particle wherein the leuco dye is contained in a solid resin particle, or a micro-capsule in which the leuco dye is enclosed is contained as a means to achieve the excellent preservation stability for recorded sections and base-blushing resistance, in the thermal coloring layer. Also, a compound represented by formula (1) such as a 4- di(phenylsulfonyl)-5-methylphenol is used as the color developer. |
