<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability by retaining the security at a high degree. <P>SOLUTION: This issuing apparatus issues a game information medium stored in an apparatus body; the game information medium performs a first authentication whether the apparatus body is proper or not by collating an identification number received form the apparatus body with an identification number prestored in the game information medium; and when the apparatus body is authenticated to be proper, the apparatus body performs a second authentication whether the game information medium is proper or not based on the information of the game information medium transmitted from the game information medium to the apparatus body, issues the game information medium only after getting the mutual authentication by the first authentication and the second authentication, and overwrites the identification number prestored in the game information medium when issuing the game information medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
