<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic money deposit machine allowing easy depositing by cash and depositing by a gift. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic money deposit machine has: a reader/writer 110 receiving an electronic money balance and a user ID from an IC card 200; a communication device 150 communicating with a gift management server 500 storing gift data exchangeable for electronic money, imparted to the prescribed IC card 200 from a prescribed service provider via a network 300; and a control part 160 acquiring the gift data stored in the gift management server 500 on the basis of the user ID when receiving the electronic money balance and the user ID from the IC card 200, and allowing selection of at least one of the depositing by the gift and the depositing by the cash on the basis of an acquisition result of the gift data.
