<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the opening of a joint concerned or removal and re-connecting of a driven shaft to a worm shaft more easily and immediately by improving the worm shaft joint of a general type. <P>SOLUTION: A driven shaft (3) of a transmission mechanism and a worm shaft (7) arranged on the same axis of an extruder, a worm axis joint connecting a shaft (3) and (7) have a joint sleeve (14) which connects two joint pegs (15, 16). The joint sleeve is fixed in the axial direction using a screw cutting sleeve (20, 20').
