<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent decrease in image quality due to difference in peripheral-direction moving speed between an electrostatic latent image carrier and a distance control roll when both contact each other. <P>SOLUTION: A rotational speed controller 70 is provided for controlling a rotational speed of a rotary developing device 30 provided with a distance control roll 73 which controls a distance between a developing roller 14 provided in each developing device 13 constituting the rotary developing device 30 and a photoreceptor drum 11. The rotational speed controller 70 is provided with a rotational speed control means 71 which controls the rotational speed of the rotary developing device 30 so that the rotational speed of the photoreceptor 11 is equal to a peripheral-direction moving speed of the distance control roll 73 for a certain period until the developing device 13 reaches a development position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
