Device for motorizing sliding doors, which comprises an open, flexible, toothed belt (2) arranged in a direction that is substantially parallel to the movement path of the sliding door (3), jaws (4) for fixing the ends of the toothed belt (2) without possibility of movement and an actuating head (1) fixed to the sliding door (3) and comprising a plate (11) for anchoring to the door (3), a reversible gear motor (14) responsible for actuating a toothed pulley (12) that is kept engaged with the toothed belt (2), the head (1) and the sliding door (3) moving together along the toothed belt (2) when the gear motor (14) rotates in one direction or the other, and means (13) for guiding the toothed belt (2). |
