<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably and intermittently reform a hydrocarbon-based raw fuel into a reformed fuel with a high content of hydrogen. <P>SOLUTION: Inside of a case 102 of a reformer 100, an evaporation section 104, steam reforming section 106 and a hydrogen separation membrane 108 are disposed in this order from the below, and the evaporation section 104 and the steam reforming section 106 are heated by transporting an off-gas, which is a reformed fuel before being passed through the hydrogen separation membrane 108 of the hydrogen separation membrane section, is transported to the outside of the case 102 via an off-gas transporting pipe 110. The reformer 100 includes a flow rate limiting mechanism 128, which limits by gradually reducing the flow amount of the off-gas transported from the terminal of the off-gas transporting pipe 110, and is constituted such that when pressures of the evaporation section 104 and the steam reforming section 106 in the case 102 are high, the amount of the raw fuel evaporated at the evaporation section 104 is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
