<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of enhancing color reproducibility of a display image. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes a pixel 10a including a sub pixel 10c corresponding to white display and a plurality of sub pixels 10b, a pair of substrates 20 and 30 provided so as to sandwich a liquid crystal 40, a top coat layer 32a (32b) provided in a region corresponding to a reflection region 10e of the sub pixels 10b and the sub pixel 10c and adjusting the distance between the substrates 20 and 30. The top coat layer 32b corresponding to the reflection region 10e of the sub pixel 10c is protruded more than the top coat layer 32a corresponding to the reflection region 10e of the sub pixels 10b in plan view. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
