<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus that improves operability of a pointing device by indicating an operation area therefor clearly and improves designability of the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus includes a housing 14 having an outer surface 14a and an inner surface 14b, the pointing device 40 having a flat input surface 44a and located in the housing with the input surface on the inner surface of the housing, the operation area 50 provided in a position on the outer surface of the housing corresponding to at least a part of the pointing device, and a display part 54 for illuminating at least a part of the outlines of the operation area to display the position of the operation area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
