PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas leak detector allowing a user to easily check, at first glance, gas leak from an accumulator of a tension balancer.SOLUTION: The gas leak detector 10 includes: a frame plate 11 that encloses and fixes a valve unit 9, with bolts 12, to an end wall 6c of a gas pressure chamber 6b of an accumulator 6 in a tension balancer 1; a cover 13 clamping an opening edge 13a between the end wall 6c and the frame plate 11 to tightly seal the valve unit 9 in the inside; and a display member 14 being displaceable between a shield position invisible from the outside and an exposed position visible therefrom. The display member 14 made of elastic synthetic resin is formed integrally with the elastic synthetic-resin cover 13, and is thinner than the cover 13, so as to be protrudingly deformed from the cover 13 by filling of gas leaked from the gas pressure chamber 6b and exposed to the outside of a case 7 for storing the accumulator 6 to discriminably display the gas leak state to the outside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
