The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of a light transmitting colored ceramics. More particularly, the manufacturing method of a light transmitting colored ceramics can form a hollow three-dimensional article having sufficient strength and supportability while having a thin thickness, thereby having excellent light transmittance and imparting a lighting function to the article. The manufacturing method of a light transmitting colored ceramics comprises: a slip preparation step of preparing a slip by mixing water, kaolin, silica, and feldspar; a chloride preparation step of preparing a chloride solution by diluting any one chloride among nickel chloride, cobalt chloride, copper chloride, chrome chloride, iron chloride, manganese chloride in crystalline state with water; a gypsum mold manufacturing step of mixing gypsum with water, mixing the resultant product in a gypsum vacuum mixer, and drying the resultant product; a half dried article forming step of forming an article inside the gypsum mold in a half-dried state; a primary sintering step of firing the resultant product in an up-draft kiln at 800-900C for 11-12 hours; a chloride treatment step of allowing the chloride solution to be absorbed in and permeate into the primarily sintered product; a glazing step of glazing an exterior area of the primarily sintered product by applying a glaze on the exterior of the primarily sintered product within 10 seconds; and a secondary sintering step of sintering the primarily sintered product in the up-draft kiln at 1,300-1,320C for 11-12 hours. |
