The objective of the present invention is to provide: a highly convenient form of disintegrating tablet that can be safely taken by patients with difficulty swallowing, the elderly, infants, etc. and can be easily taken even without water and irrespective of location, said tablet having excellent tablet hardness and disintegrating properties and being suitable as a disintegrating tablet for various foods such as medicines, supplements, foods with nutrient function claims, and health foods; and a disintegrating particle composition that is included in said disintegrating tablet. The present invention relates to a disintegrating particle composition that includes a disintegrant component and microfibrous cellulose, and to a disintegrating tablet for food or medicine, said tablet including the disintegrating particle composition and having excellent tablet hardness and disintegrating properties.
